Colorado hunters dead by lighting

I have been following this story since these two experienced hunters disappeared and then found dead with no signs of violence.

The moment I saw an old pic of them wearing a Garmin GPS, I assumed they probably had one with an SOS button, so why no SOS call was made? And one of them was visibly carrying a nasty ass knife (for butchering).

If they were attacked by animals or humans there was always a chance of pressing the SOS button, but when they were found with no signs of struggle I was clueless, until ……………

Bad weather forced them to seek refuge under a tree and I suspect since they were experienced that the first lighting strike was the one that killed them. The death was immediate and the Garmin was fried, also immediately.

Nature is brutal and it has a thousand ways to kill you. These guys were experienced and nevertheless natura found a way to get to them, so sad.
